Now (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a disposable event camera app where hosts create events and guests capture limited photos that are later shared in a reveal album. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use the Now iOS app, App Clip, and related services.

We collect the following categories of data:
Account and authentication data: Sign in with Apple credentials and identifiers, and where available from Apple, your relay email and/or name.
Profile and participant data: Username, guest participant ID, guest display name.
Event data: Event name, cover image, dates, reveal settings, shots-per-guest, guest limits, invite event IDs, membership in events.
User content: Photos you capture/upload for events, generated thumbnails, and metadata such as capture time and photographer display name.
Purchase and billing-related data: Pricing tier, package/product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase timestamp, amount/currency metadata needed to verify event purchases. Payment card details are processed by Apple, not by us.
Technical data: Network and request metadata, error diagnostics, and anti-abuse/security logs.
Local device storage: Onboarding state, stored username, guest ID/name, pending guest join event ID, queued uploads, and pending purchase-credit retry state.
We use personal data to:
- authenticate users and manage sessions;
- create/join events and enforce event rules (including shot limits);
- upload/store/display event media and reveal albums;
- process and verify paid event tiers;
- provide support and troubleshoot issues;
- protect service integrity, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We may share data with:
Other event participants: Your username and uploaded photos in the events you join.
Infrastructure and service providers: Supabase (auth, database, storage), RevenueCat (purchase infrastructure), and Apple services (Sign in with Apple, App Store purchase rails).
Legal/compliance recipients: If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We retain data for as long as necessary to operate the service, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Account/event/media records are generally retained until deletion is requested or no longer needed. Local queued uploads remain on device until successfully uploaded, retried out, or removed.
You can:
- stop using the app and sign out;
- control camera and photo-library permissions in iOS Settings;
- request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us at contact@nowevents.app.
Depending on your location (for example, EEA/UK/California), you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Now is not directed to children under 13 (or higher minimum age where required by local law). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Our app may rely on third-party services with their own policies, including Apple, Supabase, and RevenueCat.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date.
